Monday 30th April saw us join UCAS experts, university and college representatives, and industry professionals at the Kent regional UCAS event. It was a great opportunity to hear from both visiting exhibitors, as well as see, in detail, what university can offer.
With inspirational talks, topical seminars, application process advice, and interactive stands, the event gave students a fantastic opportunity to look into university destinations and the wide range of course selections.
Students got to find out what life is like on a university campus, and ask current students from a range of universities what it’s really like to study a certain subject. It was the perfect opportunity to ask those burning questions that Google just can’t answer.
PGW students took a lot from this event and for many it gave their first real experience of higher education, we hope to see UCAS applications come flying in next Academic Year. Additionally, it was a great opportunity for students to showcase their listening ‘Skills for Life’ and pay close attention to all of the valuable information that was being shared with them.
