Safeguarding and E-safety
At Greenacre Academy, we do everything we can to safeguard our students. We know that when our students are safe, happy and healthy they will be able to learn to the very best of their ability.
Like all schools, we have a safeguarding policy (available here). The aim of this policy is to ensure that Greenacre Academy has measures in place to safeguard our students from the potential risk of harm Having this policy in place ensures that all members of our school community are aware of their responsibilities in relation to safeguarding and know the procedures that should be followed if they have a cause for concern
Safeguarding within the academy is overseen by Mr Smith (email@example.com). He is supported by a Safeguarding Team.

You’re a parent and you’d like to talk to someone about your son?
If you have a concern about your son, and you’d like to talk to someone about it, we would suggest that your speak to your son’s Form Tutor in the first instance. If you’d rather speak to a member of the Pastoral Team, you can contact them using the details below:

You’re a student and you want to talk to someone?
Whatever you’re concerned about, we want to know – there will always be someone you can speak to. Try and find your Form Tutor or PSA and tell them you’d like to have a chat. If you’d rather let us know by email, you can drop us an email here and we’ll get back to you.
